Today I have an easy and pretty fast crochet bathroom pouch for you. I needed a storage pouch for my Fitbit in the bathroom, because I take it off just right before I get into the shower. The steps are so precious, that I don’t want to lose any 😀 I made the pouch a bit bigger and now it can hold my Fitbit, my glasses and any jewelry I am wearing.
The instructions are really easy even for a beginner crocheter.
Pattern:
Size: Finished pouch 18×18 cm, 7×7 inch
Yarn: Diva Line Ribbon or Ice Yarns Ribbon (but any similar fabric yarn will do)
Crochet hook: 10 mm/ US: N
Gauge not so important, you can do this pattern with any yarn and the corresponding hook, but you will get a different size pouch.
Notions
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet
hdc: half fouble crochet
tr: triple crochet
st: stitch
Instructions:
Row 1: Chain 17. sc in 2nd stitch from hook, sc in every stitch to the end of the row. Ch 2. Turn work. (16st.)
Row 2: dc in every st to the end of the row. Ch 1. Turn work. (16 st)
Row 3: sc in every stitch to the end of the row. Ch 2. Turn work. (16st.)
Repeat rows 2 and 3 finishing with row 22 : dc in every st to the end of the row. Ch 1. Turn work. (16 st)
Rows 23, 24, 25:
sc, hdc, dc, 10 tr, dc, hdc, sc. Ch 1, turn work.
Row 26:
sc, hdc, dc, 10 tr, dc, hdc, sc. Finish and cut your yarn.
Weave in ends.
With the wrong side outside, fold on row 11 so that row 1 and row 22 are on the same level. Single crochet or sew on the sides.
Flip it to show the right side. Insert a string of yarn wherever you feel it will balance well (mine is between st 4 and 5 and st 13 and 14) and make a knot.
And this is it 🙂 A simple pouch for your bathroom.
