Just a few days ago, I finished this warm and cozy sweater. The pattern is called Diamond Jumper and you can find it in English and a few other languages on Anne Ventzel’s website: https://www.anneventzel.com/shop/diamond-jumper-dansk-2rmp2 I must say that I really like some of her other patterns, so probably one day I will make another of her sweaters…
This pattern was recommended to me by my friend and local yarn store owner Daria. She also made one with her handdyed puno yarn. I bought just regular puno yarn in a natural shade. Either way, I think both sweaters turned out great 🙂
The pattern calls for 600 gr of puno yarn for size M. If you are not familiar with Puno yarn, it has high content of alpaca – 68%, 10% merino and 22% polyamide.
My Diamond Jumper took 550 gr. I think I could have worked size S too, the pattern is very oversized 🙂 I used the recommended needles, but to be honest, I did not check gauge 😀 Probably my row gauge was off, because it took me only 12 repeats for the sleeves, instead of 15, to get to 36 cms. Anyway, the sweater fits 😀 and that’s all I ask for. I can’t wait for the winter now! It’s like a warm hug around the body.
