Rye Light by Tincanknits (socks finished object)

I finally finished a pair of socks 😀

I signed up for a course at Woolgathering, because I am really not good at heels. Daria showed me a very nice way to do heels. We chose the Rye Light socks pattern and we worked it up in one of Daria’s handdyed yarns.
The pattern is simple, but so nice! 🙂 I casted on 64 stitches. I first tried on 4 needles, but I had some issues with the first sock, so I changed to Addi CrasyTrio. The second sock I knitted on Addi CrasyTrio only. I love those needles and I think I need more sizes of them :))

This is how the sock looked before turning the heel 🙂 And this is a colour which is almost like the real colour, probably because I shot in the shadows. In the next photos, when I finished the socks, the colour is very off, but I had to take the photos outside in the sun and I didn’t quite feel like editing in photoshop today, so sorry 🙂

If you want to check me out how I knit with the Addi CrasyTrio (Addi FlexiFlips in the US), here’s my video:

Also, final update. Last but not least! 😀
I am releasing a pattern for a nice squishy cowl called the Deer in the Woods cowl on the 23d of September.

I am planning to send out a code for 50% discount to my newsletter subscribers, so if you want to get it on discount, sign up now. Thank you:))
