Sometime ago I signed up for the Tunisian crochet course on Craftsy, led by Brittany of http://www.bhookedcrochet.com.
I bought a set of Tunisian crochet hooks from ebay, as I love “deals” like 12 hooks for $5, lol.
I actually liked them, they are bamboo, smooth and it was fairly easy to crochet with them. Apparently for Tunisian crochet one does not need such a large set, as you need like 2 sizes larger for the yarn weight you’re using, I can not imagine the project I’ll do with a 2 or 3mm…But who knows, one day I might think of one.:)
The course is very easy, Brittany is a great instructor. She shows how to Tunisian crochet and then presents 3 patterns. I did 2, the head band and the hat. I wen to France with the headband and unfortunately lost it 🙁 But it was easy and relatively fast to crochet, so I’ll probably make myself another one.
The hat was my next project and I like how it turned out. Except for my hideous pompom, but I am just no good at pompoms:)). This is Tunisian crochet ribbing pattern.
