I recently met a great crocheter and businesswoman in the yarn&crochet business – Nadezhda Todorova from Plovdiv, my birth town. She owns Nadko Designs, a very nice knitting atelier and yarn shop in one of Plovdiv’s famous neighbourhoods. Her small shop looks like the one I hope to own in the near future 😀
Nadya is a crochet designer and has very beautiful patterns. When I saw her newest one for a C2C baby blanket with an owl, I decided immediately that I want it. It would be a fabulous gift for the nephew we’re expecting around Christmas. The best thing is that Nadya sells the pattern with a yarn kit, this way helping me immensely, as I always have to check what yarn available in Bulgaria is in similar weight and content as the one from the pattern I’ve bought. Surprise, surprise, as we don’t have the American and Scandinavian yarns here – it’s usually very difficult to fine exactly the same thing under another brand 🙂
Now to the kit:

Nadya has calculated the exact amount of each color, which is great 🙂 She also can add a hook in the kit, but as I already have 4.5mm hook, I skipped it. I am not sure if the kit will be available abroad, but if you like it, it doesn’t hurt to ask. At least, you can get the digital download of the pattern from her 🙂
